The Firm has operated under the names of Nelson Beckstead & Waldron; Severn Ripley Doorn & Co.; Beckstead Cooper Co. and Cooper Norman Jirovec. The Firm was associated with Deloitte Haskins & Sells from 1975-1978. The Firm had an office in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1981-1986. In 1979, The Firm joined CPA Associates International, the oldest association of its nature. In 1988, the Firm opened an office in Idaho Falls by acquiring the public accounting practice of Ferguson Rooks Williams & Co., CPA’s. The Idaho Falls practice is one of the oldest in Eastern Idaho dating back to its founding in 1946. At the turn of the year from 2012 to 2013, Cooper Norman partnered with Mike Salisbury and his team in American Falls to bring the Firm’s services to that area of the state. The American Falls office was previously known as Salisbury Management Services, established in 1974, and previously affiliated with Lookout Ridge Consulting. In October of 2013 the American Falls business advisory team moved to a new office in Pocatello that combined their Business Advisory expertise and the CPA services of Allen Collins of the Pocatello area, as well as Ryan Mathews from Cooper Norman to create an experienced full-service office in that area.
