The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board today posted to its website an updated section for its Center for Economic Analysis.

The Center, which began operations in 2014, studies and advises the Board and PCAOB staff on the role of the audit in capital formation and investor protection and how economic theory and analysis can be used and further developed to enhance the effectiveness of PCAOB programs.

PCAOB website users can now learn more about the Center’s activities, including the recent publication of three working papers from researchers affiliated with the Center’s economic research fellowship program.
